Vineyard Notes
Malbec sourced from our estate vineyards in the Santa Clara AVA located in the Central Coast. Clone 9 on rootstock SO4, planted originally in 1990 and grafted over to Mourvedre in 1996
Winemaker Notes
The grapes were hand harvested in September and allowed to cold soak for 2 days. Primary fermentation lasted 12 days. This wine was aged for 15 months in 42% new french oak barrels.

Think sweet BBQ grilled asada, pork roast or rosemary crusted chicken and potatoes. Also try Empanadas or an array of cheese and charcuterie.
